Had an epic time at Cargo Shinsaibashi! The nearby curry spots like Curry Rice no Tokumasa and Spice Curry-te had my taste buds dancing! Plus, the onsen on the top floor was a relaxing gem after a long day. The cleanliness and spacious feel of the capsule were also top-notch.
Just a heads up, you have to lug your luggage up to the second floor, but there's a staff elevator if you buzz. Also, there’s limited space for your bags. the safe’s not laptop-friendly. Yet, I felt super secure on my solo trip.

The public bath was amazing, but my capsule room was a bit too hot at night.

The spacious capsules made for a comfortable stay, and the cleanliness throughout the hotel was impressive. Concerning the amenities, the public bath on the top floor was a relaxing gem after a long day, providing a pleasant atmosphere to unwind.
Check-in is strictly at 3 PM. If you arrive early, you’re left hanging with no staff around. Wi-Fi access in the common areas was poor, making it inconvenient to get online unless you stayed in your capsule. Noise can be an issue at night from other guests, making it tough for light sleepers. the thin mattresses also contribute to less-than-comfortable nights. Plus, the cafe area could use some attention—it felt more like a common room due to its closed status during my stay.

clean public bath, modern bathrooms, spacious capsule rooms
Toilet doors not closing properly can be a real issue, especially with automatic flushes waking you up!!! Not enough storage for laptops or tablets means you're forced to be cautious with your belongings. Too much noise from neighbors can ruin your peace!!!

The capsule experience at Cargo Shinsaibashi impressed me. Spacious capsules added comfort, and the cleaning standards were impeccable. Enjoyed the beautiful public bath on the top floor, a real highlight during my stay. The location's proximity to Dotonbori was a plus, making it easy to explore nearby dining options. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness enhanced the overall experience, often providing tips on local attractions. However, the sleeping mats could be thicker for better comfort, as they felt a bit too thin. I also noticed the WiFi in public areas needed an upgrade. it was quite weak and frustrating at times. Additionally, having a functioning cafe or kitchen facility would have improved the dining options, especially since there were limited food choices nearby. Still, the well-maintained communal spaces were a nice spot to relax after a day of exploring.

Had a great time with friends! The location is perfect for exploring nearby attractions like Dotonbori and Osaka Castle. The amenities were impressive, and the capsule was more spacious than expected. The public bath on the top floor was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day. Highly recommend this place for group travelers!
Just a heads-up, you’ll need to carry your luggage up to the second floor, which might be a hassle if you have heavy bags.

Cozy and chill capsule stay!
I really liked how cozy the space felt. The separate floors for guys and gals keep things super chill. Used the common area to grab some tea and miso—it was a nice touch. Had a bit of trouble finding space for my laptop though. Otherwise, it was perfect for my night in Osaka!

Great location near Dotonbori, but luggage storage was cramped during my 5-night stay.
